How to Restore Computer Files

If your computer won’t start, you can restore the files through the Windows Complete PC Backup and Restore wizard. If you run the Windows Completed PC Backup Restore wizard, the hard disk will be formatted. The files and programs in your computer will be replaced with the original data on the backups. Before you run the wizard, you should make sure that that the backups are up to date.

It is easy to restore computer files through the Windows Completed PC Backup Restore wizard. First of all, you should insert the Windows Vista disk into your CD/DVD rom. After that, you must restart the computer. When you are prompted, you should select start from CD/DVD. When the Windows Vista setup begins, you should choose a regional setting. In the second screen, you should select Repair Your Computer.

The Startup Repair will attempt to fix the startup problems. If you don’t want Startup Repair to fix the problem, you should cancel the attempt. After that, the System Recovery Options dialog box will pop up on the screen. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, you should click on the Windows Complete PC Restore. This will prompt the Windows Complete PC Restore wizard. In the first screen, you should enter the location of the backup files, date and time and computer name. If you want to clear away all the data in your drive, you can check the Format and repartition disks. If you did not check the Format and repartition disks box, the files will be left on your disk. It is recommended that you check the Format and repartition disks option so that you can completely remove the virus and malwares that are affecting the computer. When you are done, you should click on the Finish button to begin the Windows Complete PC Backup Restore process.
